Forum Post: Can we control NETANN conferencing with REST API?

Hello! I have been using the NETANN built in conference server to have SIP clients create and join a conference by sending an INVITE to conf=1234@host . The problem I am running into is having the "conference host" end the whole conference. Currently everyone has to leave on their own, I am trying to leverage the REST API to end the conference call, but it shows no conferences, tried using NETANN for an appid but then I get a returned 403. If I create a conference first using the REST API, I can then see it. Is this possible? Also, if I switch to creating a conference using the REST API first, is it possible to have callers automatically join by sending a SIP INVITE to the XMS with some type of string in the URI? I have only seen having the callers send an INVITE to the XMS, and then use the REST API to add them to the conference I have previously created. My main goal is to get 3/4 SIP parties in an audio/video conference, and have the conference host end the conference when its over ending all the calls.  Thanks, Chris
