I have problem with NA on my M3ua connections. As I have tried to established m3ua connection, my application started to receive this event m3uaEvent: PROTOCOL, Invalid NA TLV in SSNM DAVA / DUNA / DRST, NA: 0x45 And connection couldn’t be established. I have found in Dialogic manual possibility to map Network Context to Network Appearance and I have sent this message with na set to 0x45 to m3ua layer but event is still coming to my app and same error is sent to peer. What have I missed?

Forum Post: PSL_ANALOG_NUM_RINGS_BEFORE_RINGON no longer working?

$

We are trying to get a D/41JCT-LS system working in a WS2012 environment with Dialogic SR 6.0PCI Build 271 Production.  It seems to function, with one notable exception:  The parameter PSL_ANALOG_NUM_RINGS_BEFORE_RINGON no longer seems to have any effect; despite being set to 1, the globalcall interface only generates a "call detected" event after two rings.  (We are editing the pdk_na_an_io.cdp file to try to make this change, which has always worked in the past.) Not knowing exactly what to enable in the RTF config, I enabled probably more than I needed, but the attached zip contains three consecutively generated log files showing the loading of the parameter above with the correct value, but then still taking 2 rings before answer.  Can anyone tell me what I have to do to get it to answer on the first ring? Thanks in advance, /Will

Are there any plans to officially support Dialogic HMP 3.0 on VMWare Cloud in an AWS environment? AWS used to be just XEN based. Now VMWare is also available on AWS - it might follow that HMP 3.0 would work on that.

Software for the DSI boards (including SPCI4) is available here: www.dialogic.com/.../dsi-network-interface-boards.aspx Look for 'DSI DevPak for PickYourOS '  // Windows, Solaris or Linux Two documents that may help: 1. Software Environment Programmer's Manual: www.dialogic.com/.../U10SSS-SwEnv-PM.pdf  - installation  - how to configure system.txt and config.txt in general  - section 8.3.1 for monitoring 2. SPI Network Interface Board Programmer's Manual: www.dialogic.com/.../SPCI-PM.pdf  - contains information on License Buttons. The following link is a decent starting point for config.txt and system.txt but will need to be changed to reflect your environment (SPCI board for example): www.dialogic.com/.../Signaling_SS7 (Ignore the gcss7.cfg part near the end). The following demo may help get you going in the right direction. But I would expect you'll have to do development to get what you want: www.dialogic.com/.../U28SSS03-SSM-UG.pdf The source code should be in InstallDir /UPD/SRC/SSM

The DNI1210TEPE2HMP board supports ISUP using DSI SS7 and the GlobalCall API if you are using Windows. Best information is in Section 1.17 of the Release Update: www.dialogic.com/.../release_update.pdf You can also use it for SCCP, TCAP and MAP but you'll need to use the DSI API (not GlobalCall). The application that handles GlobalCall signaling can also have these DSI API calls. But, you'll be responsible for interacting with two different subsystems: - GlobalCall (for ISUP) - DSI API directly (SCCP, TCAP, etc) Good starting point for HMP (including software download): www.dialogic.com/.../hmp-windows.aspx DSI SS7 software is available here: www.dialogic.com/.../dsi-network-interface-boards.aspx Select 'DSI DevPak for Windows'. There are sample gcss7.cfg, config.txt and system.txt files here to use as a starting point: www.dialogic.com/.../globalcall_for_ss7_v6.pdf Then you would incorporate any DNI specific differences mentioned above (in the Release Update) into each file.

Hi there, Thank you for your reply. pline- ldev is the line device (terminology used in pdf) which has the value of 1 in the case above. The value is obtained by gc_OpenEx (1st parameter). As far as I know, a board device is a line device. Let me know if I am wrong. If I am wrong about how the handle of the board device is obtained,  let me know. By the way, I am using SIP and am modifying the demo gc_basic_call_model to do 1PCC. See gc_demo_open_SIP_channel in gc_basic_call_model. if (gc_OpenEx(&hmp_channel[index].ldev, hmp_channel[index].devname, EV_ASYNC, (void *)&hmp_channel[index]) != GC_SUCCESS) { sprintf(str, "gc_OpenEx(devicename=%s, mode=EV_ASYNC) Failed", hmp_channel[index].devname); printandlog(index, GC_APIERR, NULL, str, 0); exitdemo(1); }
